MOTMOT (Mobilization of Teachers through the Multiplication of Teachings) is a collection of six volumes of teaching materials including: Doctrine and Theology, Relationships, Bible Study, Church and Ministry, Missions, and Christian Life. The 49 courses that are included in the six volume set are available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, Luganda, Sesotho, Hindi, Simplified Chinese, Mandarin, and Arabic as they are especially designed to provide bible teaching resources for bible teachers in developing nations.
A Bible Teacher’s Toolkit
MOTMOT is designed as an exhaustive tool for bible teachers. It is a complete two-year college level curriculum of 49 separate courses, representing 700 instructional hours, organized within six volumes, and totaling nearly 2,000 pages of teaching notes. MOTMOT™ is based on the theme: Knowing God and Making Him Known, which approaches ministry training in both word and deed.
The materials provide a flexible structure that fits any training environment. Each course is written in detailed outline format, with exams included. There are helpful teaching aids, such as interactive discussion points, author comments, and teacher illustrations. Space is also available to create your own illustrations, a special design feature for international use.
The materials are made available to you freely…they cannot be purchased. You may print them out as an entire collection, by the volume, or as individual courses. MOTMOT is used by pastors, teachers, and schools in a wide variety of settings: Bible colleges and institutes, inner city ministries, megachurch programs, and small rural environments! The flexible design makes it especially attractive for training national leaders on the mission field. The materials are available in many languages for use in other countries as tools in the hands of indigenous bible teachers.

In 1988, while a missionary-teacher in Zaire, Africa, I began to witness first-hand one of the most tremendous shifts in missions history—the passing of leadership from the Western missionary arm to the indigenous church leaders within developing nations.
However, growth pains have come with this change. As national church leaders have taken leadership within their countries, there has been one constant cry, “We need training and resources.” This is especially true in places where the church has grown so fast that it has not kept pace with the development of capable leaders.
With these needs in mind, I developed a collection of bible courses designed to be put in the hands of capable bible teachers, especially in developing nations…courses that would serve as teaching tools/resources from which teachers could teach others. I affectionately refer to it by the acronym MOTMOT™. Everyone always asks me: what in the world is a MOTMOT? It is an acronym for the Mobilization of Teachers Through the Multiplication of Teachings™.
